Amanda's Success Story

Amanda’s journey to get fit started in May of 2011 and she is now down 80 pounds! Amanda became a member of Piranha in November of 2011 when she was FINALLY talked into a Zumba class by her cousin, Piranha instructor Kristen Lipscomb. From her first class, Amanda was hooked! Now, she is at the studio almost everyday, often taking multiple classes! Her favorite class is Power Training, which was added to the mix at the beginning of February 2012. Not only has she lost almost 25 pounds since she joined the Piranha family, she’s also lost over 15 inches since she started Power Training! “The high intensity Power Training workouts push me to my limits, but show me I have far more in me than I could have ever imagined. Everyday, I push myself to be better than I was the day before!” Since changing her diet in May of 2011 to a high protein, low sugar, low carbohydrate diet, she continues to aim to eat clean. “Everything that goes into my body is a choice. In order to feel my best, I have to power myself correctly. Good stuff in, great stuff out! Yes, it can be difficult still, but the right choice is always worth it!”
