Brittany's Success Story

In 2011, I went to the doctor for a checkup, and he told me if I continued my eating habits without exercise, I could easily hit 200 pounds by the next year. It still did not sink in, and I did not bother to make a change about my weight or health. When the beginning of 2012 came around, I noticed a change, and it was not a good one. I had hit 190 pounds, and at that point, I knew I could not live the rest of my life that way.

I took my first Zumba class at Piranha Fitness Studio mid January and fell in love with it. I began to go every other day and noticed results within just a few weeks. The positive environment and instructors’ enthusiasm in every class is what kept me motivated and inspired to keep coming back. In May of 2012 I transferred to Texas A&M University as a health major, and I knew it was time to get serious. My goal was to physically look like a health student by the time I graduate in May 2014. With the help and encouragement of Piranha Fitness Studio and the changes I’ve made in my diet, I am now down over 30 pounds, and I am the healthiest I have ever been.

I now go to Piranha Fitness Studio at least three times a week, run almost every day, and really pay attention to my eating habits. The instructors are incredibly supportive and driven to help their clients reach their fitness goals. I am so happy and appreciative I made the decision to join the Piranha family; it is definitely one of the best decisions of my life. I will continue on my fitness journey and fully believe with the support from Piranha, I will be in even better shape by the time I graduate.
