Be Beautiful

I am a firm believer that looking good on the outside makes you feel better on the inside. Granted The Real Housewives of Orange County contradicts my theory with zealous…

Regardless, you know what it feels like when you’re in your favorite outfit, or you’re having the perfect hair day – you radiate confidence! Even when I’m about to sweat my butt off teaching a class at Piranha, I love putting on make up, getting a cute ponytail going, and putting on my favorite Lululemon, because I know it will translate into awesome energy on stage.

So, today I’m highlighting three of my favorite beauty products that I use on a daily basis:

1. MAC Powder Blush

MAC cosmetics were initially designed for professional makeup artists and are highly pigmented aka a little goes a long way. I use MAC Powder Blush for a pop of pink on my cheeks! Plus I found this awesome deal MAC offers: Back 2 M·A·C Recycling offers free lipgloss, eyeshadow, or lipstick with the return of six empty containers. Beauty for you and Mother Nature!

2. Jane Iredale Dream Tint Tinted Moisturizer

I have battled with my skin since middle school and tried hundreds of foundations and tinted moisturizers. I started going to Dermataloge this year, and my clinical esthetician, Ashley, recommended Jane Iredale Dream Tint. It is light and smooth, while offering plenty of coverage. (Keep an eye out for guest blog posts by Ashley about overall skin care!)

3. Aveda Dry Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner

Long, beautiful locks have always been a dream of mine, but I’m cursed by the “never grows past my collar bone” problem. I just started going to Angie Baudoin at Cutler 2 Salon, and she put me on Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo and conditioner. It is highly concentrated, so again, a little goes a long way. It smells great, and better yet, makes my hair feel wonderful!
